This is a basic 16 character by 2 line display with IIC/I2C interface. Black text on Green background. Utilizes the extremely common HD44780 parallel interface chipset (datasheet).
This LCD is controlled by I2C, and only requires two IOs. The background light can be controlled by the jumper or firmware.
The contrast is adjustable.
The device address is 0x27.
